SportQuad.com Z400 Mailing List (Z400ML) Guidelines

* The Z400ML is a semi- moderated discussion forum catering to Z400 and KFX400 owners, racers, their families and enthusiasts. This list was created in June of 2002.

* This list was founded specifically to provide a forum that is focused on the new Suzuki Z400 and Kawasaki KFX 400 Sport Quads. This list is semi-moderated. All list members must strive to keep posts to the list as "on topic". All posts are immediately available to the list subscribers. The list administrator endeavors to monitor all posts to the list for rules compliance.

* ALL valid topics must be predominantly “ Z400 Quadsport“ related or “Z400 QuadSport technical” related content. If a thread or post is consitiently off-topic I will generally send a message directly to the sender advising them that this is off-topic..

* Some topics, subjects and messages are prohibited however, these include:

1) Vindictive Flames or continued personally disparaging remarks. If any thread becomes vindictive, I will ask both parties to cease their actions. If a party refuses, I will ask them to leave the list.

2) Spam or UCE.

3) Use of the list for either the blatant or subtle commercial promotion of your companies products or services. We invite vendors to participate on the list but they should not use this as a forum to run their own personal commercials.

4) Second hand negative rumors & innuendo about companies, promoters or their respective products. We invite everybody to share their personal first hand information about a company or it's products and services whether good or bad, but passing along rumors does not do anybody any good and can severely and unfairly damage a companies reputation. Anybody with a gripe or a grudge can spread vicious and untrue information about even the best companies and products. To control libel and slander we simply insist that anybody be able to back up what they say with there OWN personal first hand experience.

5) General "Internet crap" messages that are simply not on topic. You know what they are - virus warnings, jokes, chain email, virtual snowballs, "congress to tax Internet access", warm and fuzzy stories,
urban legends (suburban realities), etc, etc, etc. You can pass all these along to your friends and coworkers to annoy them, just don't send them to the list.

6) Avoid cryptic, one line replies. Be descriptive and take time to fully elaborate your reply.

7) Moderator & Moderation. Yep - don't talk about it on the list, if you have something to say, say it to me because I am the only one who can change it and we don't want the list subverted into long debates about minor rules. If you need to contact the moderator of this list at any time send a message to dwaters@off-road.com. I will do my best to answer your message in 72 hours..
